# What you'll need:

01 - 12 slices white sandwich bread, crustless
→ Filling
02 - 4.2 oz canned tuna in water, drained
03 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
04 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
05 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
06 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
07 - Salt and pepper, to taste
→ Decoration
08 - 24 black olive slices
09 - 24 small capers
10 - 1 small carrot, peeled and finely diced (optional)
# How to make it:
01 - Using a star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out star shapes from each slice of bread to yield 24 stars.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chopped chives, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
03 - Spread a generous spoonful of the tuna mixture onto 12 bread stars.
04 - Top each with another bread star to create 12 sandwiches.
05 - Attach two olive slices to one point of each sandwich as eyes and place a caper in the center of each olive slice.
06 - Decorate the tips of the star points with finely diced carrot pieces for added detail.
07 - Arrange the starfish sandwiches on a platter and serve chilled.
