# What you'll need:
→ Chicken
01 - 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
→ Sauce
02 - 1/2 cup honey
03 - 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1/4 cup ketchup
06 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
07 - 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
→ Thickener (optional)
08 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
09 - 2 tablespoons cold water
→ Garnish
10 - 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
11 - 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
# How to make it:
01 - Layer chicken thighs evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
02 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ketchup, vinegar, and freshly grated ginger until homogeneous.
03 - Pour prepared sauce over the chicken thighs, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated.
04 - Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 7 hours until chicken is tender and fully cooked.
05 - For a thicker sauce, whisk cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry. Remove chicken, mix slurry into sauce in the slow cooker, stir well, return chicken, cover, and cook on high for 10 to 15 minutes until sauce has thickened.
06 - Serve chicken topped with its sauce. Garnish each portion with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
