Oreo snowman cake pops (Printable)

Festive Oreo and cream cheese snowmen coated in white chocolate, perfect for winter gatherings.

# What you'll need:

→ Oreo Dough

01 - 36 Oreo cookies (about 1 standard package)
02 - 180 g (6 oz) cream cheese, softened

→ Coating & Decoration

03 - 350 g (12 oz) white chocolate or candy melts
04 - Mini chocolate chips or black decorating gel for eyes and buttons
05 - Orange sprinkle or colored icing for nose
06 - Pretzel sticks or colored fondant for arms and scarves
07 - Lollipop sticks

# How to make it:

01 - Place Oreo cookies into a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
02 - Combine crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl, blending until smooth and uniform.
03 - Roll dough into 32 small balls approximately 0.8 inches (2 cm) in diameter and 16 larger balls approximately 1.2 inches (3 cm) in diameter.
04 - Stack one small ball atop one large ball for each snowman, gently pressing to adhere. Insert a lollipop stick through the center and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
05 - Freeze the assembled snowmen for 20–30 minutes until firm.
06 - Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
07 - Dip each chilled snowman into the melted chocolate, turning to ensure even coverage. Allow excess to drip off, then place upright in a styrofoam block or cup to set.
08 - While coating remains tacky, add mini chocolate chips or black gel for eyes and buttons, and use orange icing or sprinkles for the nose.
09 - Once coating is set, attach pretzel sticks as arms and use colored fondant or icing for scarves as desired.

# Expert suggestions:

01 -
  • No baking required, just assembly and chilling—perfect when your oven is already packed with holiday cookies.
  • Kids can help decorate while you handle the dipping, turning kitchen time into actual quality time.
  • They stay fresh for days in the fridge, so you can make them ahead without last-minute stress.
02 -
  • Soften your cream cheese at room temperature first—cold cream cheese will remain lumpy and your mixture will be frustratingly grainy.
  • The freeze step is non-negotiable; skipping it means your snowmen will slouch or separate when they hit the warm chocolate.
03 -
  • If you don't have a food processor, seal Oreos in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin—it's meditative and works perfectly fine.
  • Store finished cake pops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days, and they'll taste even better than they did fresh.
