01 - 4 slices sourdough or white sandwich bread
02 - 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese (or preferred melting cheese)
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
→ Seasoning
04 - 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
# How to make it:
01 - Spread a thin, even layer of softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Sprinkle the buttered side of each slice generously with everything bagel seasoning, pressing gently to adhere.
03 - Flip two slices so the buttered side faces down and layer 2 slices of cheese on each. Top with the remaining bread slices, seasoned side facing out.
04 - Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
05 - Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until bread is golden and crisp and cheese is melted.
06 - Remove sandwiches from the skillet, allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve.
